About

Seethadevi School of Dressmaking has successfully progressed for over 40 years and is known as a renowned and pioneer dressmaking school in Sri lanka which has trained thousands of youth and mainly the female population to pursue careers in the field of scientific dressmaking and fashion designing.

Mrs. Seethadevi Wickramasinghe has closely worked with leading women’s newspapers such as Tharuni, Sirikatha,Nawaliya and many other publication authorities. Further, she has hosted many dressmaking tutorials and programs on television and media channels such as Rupavahini, ITN, Sirasa TV, Swarnawahini over the years.
She was the only teacher nominated by the National Institute of Technical Education of Sri Lanka (NITE SL) to prepare the ladies section of NVQ syllabus.

3. High Fashions course

4. Saree jacket course

5. Indian salwar and Kurta pattern course

6. Maternity dresses and Night wear course  

You can follow one of these courses according to your choice. To get enroll for the above courses, do not need any prior knowledge or experience in sewing. Beginners who has never sewn or used a sewing machine also can enroll for any of these courses. At the end of the first day of class you will be able to prepare the basic block and fit on the blouse.
